The Leica D-Lux 8 is a camera where it is easy to photograph what you see. There is not much of a barrier between your idea and the final image. Small files, raw files are close to the final look, and the camera is light-weight and compact to always have with you. Here a scene from Frank Sinatra's favorite table at The Ambassador Hotel (1938) in Chicago, the Jazz Age hotel that was once filled with A-list guests, then redesigned by Ian Schrager (2011) and sold to investors (2017) to be run as a Hyatt hotel.
