A very special workshop in Montmartre, Paris
Paris by Midnight and all that should be enought, but nevertheless I've been spicing it all up in the past with having the Paris workshops on a luxury houseboat. Now, this time I stumbled into a very exiting location in Montmartre: The original house of Tristan Tzara's house (designed by Adolf Loos in 1925).
I wouldn't say I know a lot about Tristan Tzara, so I wouldn't classify as a fan. Not sure I would even agree with his viewpoints. But it's the house I love, and the fact that it's a 20 minutes walk to the areas of Paris I know really well and often pass by with the workshop. And it has a garden I can drink coffee and smoke cigarettes in. What are the chances of finding a private garden in the midst of Paris?
So please, if you can make it, make this workshop and share the experience with me and the others!
You don't get to experience this every day: A private garden in the midst of Paris!

Thank you for allowing other photographers, like myself, to experience those images."

"I've bought the new book - made a start reading it - it is really interesting.
I know it’s basic at the beginning but it isn't written in a patronizing way. I have been taking photographs for many years and have been lucky enough to be paid to take them for the last seven years; but it's always good to be taken back to the start"

On assignment in London
London City and East Grinstead, United Kingdom. October 7-11, 2016
I'll be doing some work in London right after Paris. I might stay in London till the London Workshop starts, or maybe go somewhere else.

A drive through Europe
Freankfurt, Wetzlar, Hamburg. October 11-12, 2016
After a lot of travel I had all my cameras and lenses adjuste at Leica Camera AG in Wetzlar. Then I headed to the Mont Blanc headquarter in Hamburg to get some of my pens adjusted. After I had used the purple Mont Blanc ink in my pens, the pumps had stopped working properly. That was my first visit to their headquarter. Then Apple Store in Hamburg where I had scheduled a repair of a new screen on one of my labtops. And finally back in Denmark, I sent off bags for repair. Lots of small things that needs to get brought back to optimum condition.
The Mont Blanc worldwide headquater is in Hamburg, Germany. I would genreally recommend to visit a store for service and repairs. Their HQ is not really set up to service customers. © 2016 Thorsten Overgaard.
In The Kingdom - Winter is Coming!
The Kingdom of Denmark, October 13-15, 2016
I'm back in Denmark to change suitcase. It's dark, cold, windy and raining. I don't know why I do this.

The last European Workshop in Europe in 2016 will be London
London, United Kingdom. October 19-19, 2016
London is one of my favorite places to take pictures. Actually, any city you can walk in and which has a mix of people and cultures, traditions, old history and modern times, that's a great photography city. London is one of the top-5 cities for that (the others are New York, Hong Kong, Rome and Paris).
The London Workshop will be fun as usual. We'll be having the headquarter around Charlotte Street and work our way from there to the good coffee, the Banksy murals, Indian food and more.

Tokyo for the most crazy Haloween in the entire universe!
Ginza and Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan. October 29 - November 4, 2016
The Tokyo Workshop is the first of the Asian workshops this year. I decided on this date because the Haloween in Tokyo is by far the most exteme, crazy and out-of-this-universe you can imagine.
