The real Hotel Chelsea on 222 W23rd Street in New York has reopened as a hotel, still with somewhat 30 residents in rooms and apartments here and there.

On the same floor as mine at the Hotel Chelsea, I met coreographer Merle Lister, who often gets recognized in stores and on the street for being in the Scorcese documentary on Hotel Chelsea, Dreaming Walls (2022).
