Møllestien in Aarhus is a street from year 1200 and possibly dating back to even the Viking Era (year 800-1250). The rows of old houses in the small street was ghetto until the 1960's but are now quite high-end ... sort of rare antiquities you can live in. On a writing holiday in Skagen, the most northern peninsula (a piece of land projecting out into a body of water) of Denmark. It is quite outside of season, so it's very quiet. This is where the poets and painters like Hammershøi, Anne and Michael Ancher, P.S. Krøyer, Laurits Tuxen etc were hanging out 100 years ago for the quietness and the special light that land surrounded by water has. The King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine would also visit often to inhale the atmosphere. In the summer it attracts two million tourists over a few weeks, but at this time of year it is almost deserted with just a single bakery open and a barking dog somewhere as the only background sound.

My new The Von Cuba 55 travel bag
I have made a new bag for myself and other photographers, "The Von Cuba 55" for short trips, carry-on for the necessary stuff, or simply a short trip to the gym and back.
A travel bag, for photographers. The Von Cuba 55 in black soft Italian calfskin on the outside, with handpainted orange edging, soft alcantara on the inside. Designed by Thorsten von Overgaard and Matteo Perin.
