Thank you, Chicago
Early October marked the start of a new series of photo workshops, slowly starting up, as well as a new tradition for coffee meetups and casual camera talks with larger groups.

It is never like you hear. That is the lesson I have learned from years of travel to more than fifty countries. The best example was in Perth, Australia, of which I had been told previously "It's awful" while equally from others "It's awesome." It was neither of these two descriptions. Although, going there made me understand why opinions and perceptions might differ. But for me, it was my experience, and I got my own photographs which reflect my point of view.

The Chicago Workshop
Going to Chicago was different than expected, and in the context of doing a workshop, the questions were whether people were ready for a workshop, and if the street life would be worth photographing. The answer was yes: The workshop was full, and we had a great time and got great photos of a city dressed in autumn colors.
For once, I'll let the photographs speak for themselves. Go to the Overgaard Workshop page for the ever-updated schedule of future workshops in the USA, Asia, Europe and more.
See you soon!

Chicago by night
Not a fan of night photography, I found myself having fun in the streets and the restaurants in the Chicago nights.

Coffee meetups
I'll be trying to arrange early morning coffee meetups as the one I did in Chicago. It's a great way for enthusiasts to connect with other locals. It's free, and all are invited. Next one is in Silicon Valley.
