Leica books by Erwin Puts
On this page, I have made available many of the digital editions of the books by Erwin Puts (1944-2021) as they are no longer available anywhere else. Erwin Puts was a great Leica expert, writing numerous expert books on Leica cameras and Leica lenses in the service of other Leica fans.

Erwin Puts (1944-2021) was a Dutch photographer and writer, passionate about Leica and produced a massive database of information and facts in books and on his website. Erwin and I would occasionally pass each other in the canteen or the hallways of Leica, where he gathered information and met with lens designer Peter Karbe. At one time, I helped him set up an online store for his books, and he did some of it, but the commercial side of it wasn't really of much interest to him. When he passed in 2021, the online store was taken down by the family.
The printed books are limited now, but can be found if you work on it. But on this page are the digital versions. |
