Some times I get mails from people that are special. This is one such:
"Dear Thorsten,
The photo I took at your workshop, the one you said could be in a museum, I have had much controversy over. Some say, "It's just a picture of feet." Others, like you, say it is inspiring and makes them think in a dreamy way. Nonetheless I have actually sold enlargements on canvas of this photo. I named it "You are the Light in Every Step", and did a limited edition of 25.
When I met you I had a Leica Digilux 2 and a Leica Digilux 3, but I was still basically a dSLR shooter with Olympus cameras - That completely changed after your workshop. I now have a Leica M8 and three M-lenses. I still have the Leica Digilux 2 and a Leica Digilux 3, and I also have a Leica D-Lux 5. Suffice it to say, I am loving Leicas.
You have a very subtle way of teaching. Please include me in another workshop. Attached is the finished photograph. Hope all is well with you and your family. Thank you Thorsten!" (D.F.)
