The real estate market has fallen apart. That's how it is. Though in Aarhus, Denmark we find one single real estate agent who sell apartments as if the economy was booming: Two years ago it took 68 days to sell an apartment; and despite everything that is still how long ot takes - or how fast it goes.
The secret is in part constant advertising on half of the local city buses, plus a massive amount of fliers distributed every week, and then the ultimate secret weapon ... which we will continue to keep a secret.
A couple of times every year we review the advertising and the overall image, and usually we shoot some new photographs. This time we made a theme for "sold in 68 days" where Lars Gravél swirls around town with a huge SOLD sign (like those put in the windows of apartments when they've been sold).
We don't have a certain strategy, except we've done this so many times before we kind of follow our guts feeling. So it was something about walking about in a french manner, in black and white, and with the monotony of yet another apartment sold.
The signal is that it's effective, here and now, independent of current booms or current financial crises. Lars Gravél always sell in 68 days, which by the way is faster than the usual 210 days most real estate agents take to sell an apartment currently.
